Kalyn is originally from Mississippi but spent much of her childhood in Germany, giving her a unique and diverse background. She eventually settled in Memphis, Tennessee, where she now calls home.

After graduating from high school, Kalyn earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from The University of Southern Mississippi. She went on to attend the University of Mississippi School of Law, where she was actively involved in the MacArthur Justice Clinic. She dedicated her time to advocating for human rights and social justice. 

In her free time, Kalyn enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her family and dog.
