Julisa was born and raised in Iowa. She attended the University of Northern Iowa where she studied Family Services and Criminology and graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Julisa is bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish, with Spanish being her first language.

Julisa is passionate about speaking out against injustices and amplifying the voices of those who are underrepresented in society. She is a paralegal at Eason Law, and primarily works with criminal and immigration cases. Her love for the immigrant community comes from her own experiences as the daughter of immigrants. With her professional and personal background in this field, Julisa is dedicated to making sure our clients feel seen, heard, valued, and supported.

Aside from work, Julisa loves to travel.
